Music City K9 Training offers practical, personalized training for puppies, adult dogs, and dogs dealing with more serious behavioral challenges. From private in-home obedience and puppy education to group classes and behavior modification, our programs are designed to improve communication, build better habits, and strengthen the relationship between you and your dog.
Designed for new puppy owners, this class helps you start off on the right paw before unwanted habits become bigger problems. We cover potty training, crate training, biting and chewing, safe socialization, good toys vs. bad toys, house rules, and how to encourage the behaviors you want without reinforcing the ones you don’t.
Many of the problems we’re later called in to correct can be prevented with the right guidance from the beginning.
Private lessons are ideal for owners who want personalized, one-on-one training in the comfort of their own home. Working in your dog’s everyday environment allows us to address real-life issues such as house manners, jumping, excessive barking, counter surfing, and more.
We work with you and your dog together, teaching clear communication, consistency, and practical skills that carry over into everyday life.
Private Obedience is a 5-week course for dogs approximately 5 months and older.
This 7-week program is for dogs dealing with more serious behavioral issues that go beyond basic obedience. It includes the obedience work from our private training program, along with additional training focused on issues such as leash reactivity, aggression, fear, anxiety, separation anxiety, socialization problems, and resource guarding.
These situations can be stressful, frustrating, and sometimes frightening for owners. We’ve helped many dogs make meaningful progress with issues their families once thought were impossible to overcome.

Join one of our seasonal group obedience classes for structured training in a small, supportive setting. This 6-week outdoor course is limited to 4–8 students so each dog and owner gets plenty of individual attention.
Group class gives you the chance to work on obedience around real distractions while also helping your dog become more comfortable and focused around other dogs and people.
Classes are offered seasonally in the Spring and Fall.
